We are currently in the middle of adipose fin clipping approximately 300 000 Coho fry. We are also coded wire tagging 80 000 for stock assessment purposes.

It will be interesting to see if any of the tagged coho show up in the northern troll fishery. Presently we turn in 10% of our catch for head sampling and we are shooting for 20%. So little is known on where our fish roam it should be interesting.

I agree John, I am very interested to see where our fish show up. I am trying to get some info on our past tagging to see if our fish show up in some of the same areas they used to. Stay tuned!
