Good News! The alevin are almost all buttoned up! Just one last one with a yolk sac…he must of hatched last.
After Spring Break the pink styrofoam comes off and the kids are super excited to see the fry swimming in the tank. Something to look forward to.

Great news! Ours aren’t in need of feed yet. Another week or two. It’s hard to see but if they where in a drinking glass and you looked under on the belly you would still see an open orange coloration. This is the remainder of the yolk sac. It is not visible from the side of the fish. We are better to leave a bit longer as feeding to soon can cause the fish harm. Soon though !
