Timeline
- 1981 – Began building Duck Lake Facility
- 1983 – Brood year of first releases (34,502 Coho; 756 Pink)
- 1985 – Brood year of first Chum release (50K)
- 1986 – Brood year of first Chinook release (120K)
- 1986 – Installed incubation facility on the MacMillan Bloedel mill site and reared 4,500 Cuthroat Trout for release to Powell Lake
- 1988 – Fence was relocated to the mouth of Lang Creek
- 1989 – Spawning channel for chum was installed at Lang Creek
- 1991 – Mill hatchery was relocated and rearing troughs were also installed
- 1993 – Initiation of brood hold sort facility in Lang Bay
- 1994 – Expansion of brood hold sort facility in Lang Bay
- 1998 – Began supplying Chinook to Chapman Creek (150 Keyed Eggs) Sliammon First Nations and Sechelt First Nations
- 1998 – Began rearing Chinook in Duck Lake net pens
- 2000 – a new hatchery was constructed at the mill at a cost of approximately $500,000
- 2001 – We began adipose fin clipping all of our Coho releases
- 2005 – Restructured Lang Creek spawning channel
- 2005 – Lang fishway release extension
- 2005 – First Annual PR Pacific Salmon Foundation dinner and fundraiser
- 2006 – Placed lifecycle log at Lang Creek
- 2006 – Lang Creek information kiosk placed
- 2006 – Mill hatchery expansion
- 2006 – First terminal fish transplants at Willingdon and Texada locations
- 2006 – Placement of rock and wooden salmon sculpture and Mill hatchery
- 2007 – Acquisition of Heathrow Fish Pump
- 2007 – Net loft completed at Duck Lake Hatchery
- 2007 – PR trough bulk incubation expansion at Mill Hatchery
- 2008- Acquisition of 2000 gallon transport tank
- 2008-replacement of water monitoring station at Lang including video camera’s and computer
- 2009-Lang Creek Education Project-building extension/outdoor classroom
- 2009-Lang Creek washroom facility upgrade

Annual production targets are approximately as follows:
- 250 to 300 K Coho
- 700 to 800 K Chum
- 920 K Chinook
- In addition, the spawing channel is estimated to produce up to 1000 K Chum Fry per year
