We are taking 70 000 Chinook smolts to Sechelt Inlet. Yep, we use a gravel truck!

We spent the morning going over our oxygen regulators, air stones, fish pump, and all the other necessary equipment for tomorrows big move.

Looks like one of the best zooplankton years yet . They are also are seeing lots of nice fatty euphausiid, which we have not seen in large numbers for years.    Seems like lots of food waiting for them In the area which is good as we are in the process of releasing our fish.   Keep your fingers crossed!

starting towards something fairly big in the next couple of weeks, maybe a bit earlier than the past.  Hard to say right now, the next week will paint a better
picture.

The temperature is rising!

The water hit ten degrees Celsius at Duck Lake today.We now have Chinook in our raceways at Duck Lake after repairs were made.
